Boca Del Mar is a census-designated place (CDP) in an unincorporated area near Boca Raton in Palm Beach County, Florida, US. Even though it isn’t officially in Boca Raton, it is often classified under its umbrella term. It is located approximately three miles southwest of Boca Raton. Bocal Del Mar has a total area of 10.4 km2 (4.0 mi2), all of it being land.
Boca Del Mar is a mix of residential and commercial communities with several shopping centers, parks, churches and small startup businesses. Parks within the community include Silver Palms Park, at Sierra Drive; Pinewood Park; Cameo Woods, at Greentree Cir; Via Mizner Golf & City Club, at Boca Del Mar Dr. Shopping centers include Winn-Dixie, Del Mar Village, pointe west center, Publix Super Market at Garden Shops at Boca, and Garden Shops At Boca Del Mar.
Boca Del Mar’s main artery is the Powerline Drive that runs north-south and spans the entire area of the community. S Military Trail bounds it to the east while Florida’s Turnpike bounds it to the west. W Palmetto Park Road serves as the main west-east thoroughfare. The community is bounded by the river to the north and south. Other roads include W Camino Real between Powerline Road and S Military Trail.
