Coral Springs, South Florida, is a master-planned neighborhood, located near Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where the highest building is just 12 floors high. A 300-seat theater at the Center for the Arts, located next to the Coral Springs Museum of Art, regularly plays host to top-tier artists, and the city’s 49 verdant parks give locals plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors.

Since Coral Springs didn’t even become a city until 1963, almost everything there is brand spanking new. Day trips to bustling metropolises, the Everglades, and beautiful beaches are easily accessible. While the city of Coral Springs as a whole is rather vast, efforts are being made to revitalize and build a dynamic downtown district.

 

Coral Springs has a variety of housing options, from gated communities to single-family homes to condos, all with a laid-back attitude in mind. Skyscrapers and high-rises don’t loom over the neighborhood because the tallest structure is only twelve stories high. The city has a wide variety of beautiful and reasonably priced real estate alternatives, from sprawling mansions on exclusive golf courses to tiny condos with shared outdoor pools.

 

There was a time when the Honda Classic was held at the TPC at Eagle Trace, a private golf facility inside the gated neighborhood of Eagle Trace in Coral Springs. One of the many outdoor activities available in the area is playing on the championship golf course that was designed by Arthur Hills.
