Delaney Park Orange County

Delaney Park is a neighborhood located south of downtown Orlando, Florida, United States. It is named after Monte Delaney. Delaney Park can be noted for brick streets, mix of homes dating from the 1920s to present day, large oak trees, and close proximity to Orlando Regional Medical Center, Winnie Palmer Hospital for Children and Orlando’s Amtrak Station.A lake resides in the neighborhood namely Lake Lancaster.


Delaney Park is bounded by E Gore Street, Summerlin Avenue and Briercliff Drive to the north, S Ferncreek Avenue to the east, E Kaley Street to the south and Delaney Avenue of which are the main arterials in the neighborhood. Secondary streets include Osceola Avenue, Orangewood Avenue, Shorewood Drive, Lancaster Drive, and S Eola Drive.


Delaney Park is home to few small parks including Delaney Park, Delaney Park Tennis Courts, Delaney baseball fields which are accessible via Delaney Park Drive and Zen KarateDo about 800 meters to the south at Avalon Boulevard. Lake Lancaster Park is off to the east at Briercliff Driver immediately to the eastern edge of Lake Lancaster.
