Sandalfoot Cove was a census-designated place (CDP) located in an unincorporated area near Boca Raton in Palm Beach County, Florida, United States. Despite not being officially included in the City of Boca Raton, the community is often considered part of it. Approximately five miles southwest of Boca Raton lies Sandalfoot Cove. It covers an area of 7.7 km2 (3.0 mi2).
Sandalfoot Cove lies between US 441 S and Boca Rio Road. While the western boundary of Sandalfoot ends at US Route 441; residents also refer to the area directly west as Sandalfoot. Sandalfoot Boulevard continues west of 441. It is in this area that you will find the Watergate Estates mobile homes, Boca Trails, Palmetto Pines, Boca Springs, and Tudor Woods homes. W Palmetto Park Road bounds it to the north. Lyons Road runs north and south and bisects the community.
Sandalfoot Cove is mostly residential and is home to Boca Rio Golf Club and Boca Dunes Golf & Country Club which occupies most of the defined land area of the CDP. In the middle of the golf clubs lies Sandalfoot Cove Park along Lyons Road. Other parks and recreational areas include Veteran’s Park Playground and Veteran’s Park Football / Soccer Field. Several shopping malls populate the area such as Walmart Supercenter, Western Beef Supermarket, USA grocers, and Sandalfoot Square.
The 19 bus (Boca Raton Sandalfoot) has 65 stops departing from Lauderhill Transit Center and ending in Us-441/Sr-7 @ Sandalfoot Blvd. Bus stops are present throughout Boca Rio Road, SW 8th Street, Lyons Road and SW 18th Street.
