Downtown Tampa

Downtown Tampa, which sits atop Hillsborough Bay, is widely regarded as one of the city’s most desirable areas, both for settling down and for getting involved in the vibrant nightlife of the area. If you live in the city, you won’t have to waste time traveling there for work or entertainment like so many other people do.

Downtown Tampa is primarily comprised of commercial space; however, there are a few residential options available, including apartments, condominiums, and even some single-family homes on the outskirts of the city for people who want to make it their permanent home.

Downtown Tampa, with its convenient location in the middle of the city, is widely considered to be the most amenity-rich neighborhood in all of Tampa. It is home to incredible venues such as the David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts, a 4,327-seat theater that hosts a variety of performances including shows, dances, and elegant opera concerts. The Florida Aquarium was opened in 1995 and has since become one of the most visited attractions in downtown Tampa. It is home to more than 14,000 different species of marine animals. You can also find the Tampa Convention Center downtown, which serves as a focal point for a wide variety of events throughout the entire year.

The youthful vibrancy of the downtown area is ideal for college students and young professionals, but people of all ages can be found taking advantage of the exciting opportunities presented by the downtown area. You will be in close proximity to all the action, including Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, which is where some of the most well-known events in the city take place, such as Gasparilla. Make it a point to look into the various events that are taking place in Tampa to get a sense of all the exciting things that are going on. If you want to live downtown, you will probably have to rent an apartment, but there is no shortage of options available to you.

In contrast to the majority of other major cities, Tampa has a significant amount of outdoor living space. Enjoying the great outdoors will be easy for you to do all through the year thanks to the abundance of green areas and access to the water. In spite of the fact that you are in the middle of a city, you will discover that you can take your dog with you virtually everywhere. Tampa is one of the most dog-friendly large cities you can visit due to the abundance of dog-friendly activities and parks, as well as outdoor dining options and green spaces that are open to the public.
