Cypress Grove Park-Orlando

A beautiful park can be found in a suburb of South Orlando, Florida called Cypress Grove Park. Even though it lies close to a crime-ridden road, this park is wonderful. As you enter the park, there are many cypress trees you will spot. The shade provided by the trees further enhances the relaxing atmosphere. Its centerpiece, Lake Jessamine, is one of the most spectacular features of Cypress Grove Park. The lake is surrounded by lush vegetation and provides visitors with plenty of opportunities to take beautiful photos or go fishing. Around the lake, you can find picnic areas filled with benches and tables for you to enjoy lunch or dinner outdoors. This is perfect for family gatherings as well as corporate outings such as team-building activities.

Another unique feature of this park is its historic 1925 mansion, which is primarily used as a wedding and special event venue. Set on over 80 acres of land on the shores of Lake Jasmine, this waterfront property dates back to 1925. Couples who wish to celebrate their wedding day here will have plenty of opportunities for stunning wedding pictures. It offers a wide variety of elegant venues for celebrations. Guests may choose to exchange their vows on the lawns or under the vintage gazebo in an outdoor ceremony. The outdoor amphitheater offers a stunning space for one-of-a-kind receptions, while you can also choose to set a tent on the lawns. Whatever your vision for your nuptials may be, the dedicated staff at this property will surely make it happen.

It also offers a full-service wedding package, making the planning process easier. Dressing rooms are available on-site, allowing you to prepare for your wedding day in a serene, peaceful environment. Guests at the venue can request catering and bar packages from the venue’s exclusive catering team, Big City Catering. Additionally, the team can provide chairs for the ceremony and reception, as well as tables. Also available are decorative embellishments, such as market lighting for a romantic glow. All ceremony types are welcome at this venue, including civil unions, vow renewals, and micro-ceremonies. This team also welcomes couples who are planning destination weddings. By the day’s end, visitors may be tempted to stay at the mansion. It is available to rent overnight as well whether you are a family or a friend of the newlyweds or just a visitor to the park. From cozy fireplaces to spacious bedrooms, this venue exudes charm during every season of the year.

If you are not there for a wedding or an event, there is also a trail you can enjoy when you are in the park. The average time to complete the route is 21 minutes, which is considered to be an easy route. Throughout your exploration, you will likely encounter other people since it is a popular area for birdwatching, fishing, and road biking. This trail is open year-round and is a beautiful place to visit at any time of the year. It is okay to bring your dogs, but they must be on a leash.

At the south end of the trail, there are four accessible parking spaces in the paved parking lot off Holden Avenue. They are all van-accessible and have striped access aisles. The trail surface is paved and smooth. In most cases, it is at least 4 feet wide with many wider passing spaces. The entire trail is estimated to be in the flat grade category of 1% or less. This trail will likely be navigable for most wheelchairs/mobility equipment or stroller users. There are also benches and picnic tables along the route for resting.
